WHAT RESEARCH HAS BEEN DONE WITH VIRTUAL REALITY THERAPY?
The table below provides an extensive list of past research studies examining different applications of virtual reality therapy. The list includes many different phobias, autism, and post-traumatic stress disorder. All of these experiments demonstrate the effective power of virtual reality therapy - they each resulted in decreased anxiety levels, the patient being more capable of confronting their fear in real life, and patients being able to learn new tasks.
